Bullet Bracelets

 BULLET JEWELRY BRACELETS

This bracelets features a 40 caliber bullet head and light turquoise Swarovski crystals in textured turquoise clay.  The clay and bullet head rest in a silver plated bezel.  Suede laces are attached to the bezel with a clasp and extender chain.

The back of the bezel is smooth.

The suede bracelet laces are available in black, white or pink.
The other bezel is completed with a .223 bullet head with a Swarovski crystal in the center of purple, white, & black clay.  This bezel would look nice in any of the suede colors.

These can be custom made with your choice of bullet caliber/mm, your choice of clay color, and your choice of suede color.  These can also be made without bullet heads and can include multiple clay colors, pattern/design, with multiple crystals, etc.

These are very cute bracelets and lend to many different options and ideas.  Can be matched to a stretch or sized ring and a pendant an/or earrings too.

The suede laces are easy to make as well.

Bolt Action Pens

Speaking of bullet pens...a carryover from a previous post...

I made some bolt action bullet cartridge pens as custom orders last month.  These might be the coolest click pens EVER!  The rose gold tip is included in this pen (an option on other pens) along with the rifle clip, although you can request a deer head or the scope clip for these pens as well.

The photos show two gun metal pens and a chrome pen, but these are also available in
  • antique brass
  • antique copper
  • 24K gold
  • black enamel

I completed one of the gun metal pens in a black, white, & gray "camo" pattern which I thought turned out pretty well!  Particularly on a chrome or gun metal (or black enamel) pen.  The brown/green/gold/black "camo" pattern on the chrome pen has a subtle leaf pattern in the clay. Both of these were made from the mokume gane technique.

The chrome pen was gifted by the customer to her father in the camo view top box.  The box just finished off the pen nicely!

These boxes are also available in black, which would have been nice also.
These boxes are an inexpensive presentation option when a wooden desk top box isn't
necessary or appropriate for the user.
This box is also available in a rust color.

Another nice Father's Day or Graduation gift.

And speaking of bolt action pens...there is another non-bullet style available....stay tuned..

FREEDOM PEN

THE FREEDOM PEN

\

I made this Virage Chrome Fountain Pen with 1776 engraved in the cap. I used a blue & pearl white mix, red, and pearl white.  I sold this pen to an individual in the Air Force who gave it to a friend. He contacted me to commission another pen for himself and told me he named the one he bought the "Freedom Pen."  I LOVE THAT!  So, I asked him if I could name the stars & stripes pens that I make "Freedom Pens."
(He said yes.)

The following pen is the Freedom Pen I made for him.  This pen is straight blue (not blue & pearl white mixed), white (not pearl white), and red.  I used smaller stars and more of them and I "waved" the red & white stripes (so she will forever wave...get it??)

Anyhoo...I created the blue cap first and then added thinly sliced stars and rolled them smooth.  I did the same with the pen barrel...I created the red then added thin stripes and rolled until smooth.  I contoured the clay mostly before adding the white clay, but then finished it out after the stars and stripes were added.  It required a little extra sanding to get it completely smooth, but I think it turned out quite nice!

Looking forward to coming up with a slightly different pattern for the next one!

Wall Plates

WALL PLATES

I just recently completed a request for 17 wall plates -- here are 15 of them!
These looked great using brown plates that already had brown screws, not white.
I covered the plate with a thin sheet of clay textured like "naugahide." I cured this layer, let it cool, then added the second layer in pieces textured like "tooled" leather, not covering the entire plate.  I cured the plate again (about 15 minutes 1st time and about 20 minutes the second time).  You have to be careful of air bubbles with the first layer. But it's easy to pierce them with the Xacto knife since this layer is textured as it is.  It's like camo for any puncture holes!
Be sure to cut out the screw  holes before curing...not so easy afterward and it looks neater if you make the holes in the soft clay.  You can use the screw head to make an impression and measure to be sure the opening will accommodate the screw.

After curing I gave a gloss coat to only the "tooled" leather parts. But you could clear coat the entire plate if you wanted.  I like the difference between the gloss and matte finish...visual interest.

An inexpensive way to upgrade your decor...if you make them yourself.
A little time consuming, but worth the end result!!!

TEACHER'S PEN

THE TEACHER'S PEN

This pen is double-ended featuring black ink as well as red ink.
This pen utilizes mini refills and features twist mechanisms in both ends of the pen for independent operation.
This pen is also available in 24K gold plate.

Wonderful gift for a child's teacher or a teacher friend!
This particular pen was custom ordered. The customer requested the chrome finish as well as the two colors turquoise and white.

Butterfly Hair Clips

HAIR CLIPS
These hair clips were made as a custom order.
I took the same filigree butterfly that I make pendants out of, added the clay in each opening, and attached them to an alligator style hair clip on the back.
The area around the head/antenna & between the wings is filled in with clay here,
but not for the pendants.
This gives the clip more surface to adhere to and gives more color area for the hair clip.
Swarovski crystals are included in corresponding colors.
Photos do not do these pieces justice.
They look like enamel Cloissonne pieces in person.

Bobby Pins

BOBBY PINS
These are some bobby pins that I embellished with clay and crystals for a customer as a custom order.  The center of these floral  pins is perfect for a swarovski crystal for just a little bling.  These pins also come in bronze color rather than silver.  They are easy to work with, although the smaller size can be challenging at moments.
These pins make a nice, unique, inexpensive gift.
